48 Hours in Las Vegas
Enjoy some art, discover the best views in Vegas, dance the night away, and even pop into a secret speakeasy! This is how you spend 48 hours in Las Vegas.
Day 1 – Welcome to Vegas!
Arrive at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport
You’ve arrived! You might be driving into Las Vegas if you’re within a few hours distance, but most likely you’ll fly in. The Las Vegas McCarran International Airport is pretty busy, but it’s still fairly easy to navigate.

Arrive at your Las Vegas Hotel
There are so many beautiful hotels in Las Vegas that you really can’t go wrong. We stayed at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for this trip. I love watching the gondolas go by. It’s a beautiful property in a great location right on The Strip in the heart of Vegas.
Go ahead and drop off your luggage so you can get ready for an exciting day in Las Vegas! But first, let’s grab some lunch!

Lunch at Jardin At Encore
Stop by Jardin At Encore for seasonal foods with a focus on fresh produce. Not to mention, Jardin has delicious cuisine with beautiful views of The Encore pools and gardens. We loved their avocado toast. You can even order a dessert that is disguised as a potted plant! How cool is that?! Even the flowers are edible.
18b – The Las Vegas Arts District
Now let’s head over to 18b, The Las Vegas Arts District. Welcome to the heart of arts and culture when it comes to Las Vegas. Browse local antique shops, buy art from one of the many galleries, and soak up all of the culture the city has to offer.
This area is full of flashing lights, giant art installations, and larger than life murals. Make sure to charge up your camera before you go!
Freshen Up for a Night Out in Vegas
After visiting 18b, The Las Vegas Arts District, head back to your hotel for a quick rest. Then to freshen up for a fun night out Las Vegas style!
This is also the perfect time to take a quick stroll through the beautiful lobby of the Venetian and enjoy all the beautiful details.
Drinks at Electra Cocktail Club
You’ll be a changed traveler once you taste the avant-garde cocktails at Electra Cocktail Club! They even have a drink called Unicorn Tears and it was super tasty. The entire club feels electric, filled with unique libations and an entire wall dedicated to digital art.
Dinner at Vetri Cucina
Wanna indulge while overlooking one of the best views in Vegas? Look no further than Vetri Cucina, located on the 56th floor of the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The food is impeccable with flavors from around the world and they have a great wine list for all tastes.
Dancing at On the Record
We all know Las Vegas is known for its nightlife. Now it’s time to get out and have some fun! Get your groove on at On the Record, a club and secret speakeasy located inside Park MGM. I had so much fun dancing the night away!
Don’t miss the speakeasy! Find the wall made of cassette tapes and look closely for the cracks. Wait there until the door opens and you’re in!
Day 2 – 48 Hours in Las Vegas
Brunch at Sadelle’s
After a fun night out, you’ll be craving some mimosas and a hearty brunch before you head back out to explore.
Sadelle’s is located inside the Bellagio Las Vegas and has some of the most amazing signature dishes like their fried chicken or sticky buns. Yum!
Seven Magic Mountains
You’ll be recharged after a tasty brunch and ready to take a little drive out to the Seven Magic Mountains. Imagine being out in the middle of the desert then seeing 7 huge rainbow-colored rocks stacked up to thirty-five-foot high.
Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone created Seven Magic Mountains as a two-year public exhibition located in the desert. This is one of the best views in Las Vegas and it’s the perfect place to grab an Instagram-worthy photo!
Make sure to go early so you can beat the crowds. If you take an Uber there, make sure to keep your driver and have them wait for you while you visit. The 7 Magic Mountains are in the middle of nowhere and cell phone service is spotty. You don’t want to be stranded in the desert so make sure to plan ahead for this.
Black Tap Restaurant
Black Tap Restaurant is a great place to grab an interesting burger and a crazy shake while watching the gondolas go by at the Venetian. You’ve been doing a bit of fine dining during your 48 hours in Las Vegas so why not mix it up with something a little more casual. This is also the perfect spot for late night fare after you’ve been out on the town.
If you love Mediterranean food, try the falafel burger. Black Tap is known for its Crazy Shakes and you won’t be able to skip dessert once you see the staff sending these out. We couldn’t decide between cotton candy and Oreo so we splurged and ordered both. Make sure to snap an Instagram photo before you dig in!
Dancing at OMNIA Nightclub
You’ve made it this far and you only have one night left before your 48 hours in Vegas comes to an end. This is your last chance to dance and live it up! Spend a few hours dancing and people watching at OMNIA Nightclub, a household name when it comes to Vegas nightlife, conveniently located within Caesars Palace Las Vegas.
If you’re not in the mood for dancing, but still want to have a fun night out, then check out one of these Las Vegas shows!
