Day 1: Arrival in Costa Rica
Fri, Feb. 16, 2018 — Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting. Private transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the region’- Adventure Capital!
During our visit to the Arenal Volcano area, we will stay at Arenal Paraiso Hotel Resort and Spa. Arenal Paraiso Hotel Resort and Spa is an eco-resort located outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include hot-springs pool, swimming pool, restaurant, bar, spa, tropical gardens and free internet access. Superior Rooms feature air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, small refrigerator, and a glass-enclosed balcony to view the volcano.
Day 2: Whitewater Rafting
Sat, Feb. 17, 2018 — The Rio Balsa is an awesome river for Class II and III whitewater rafting! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you along this tropical river. This is a great river for first-timers and those that want the thrill of rafting without going overboard – yes the pun was intended. 🙂 No prior experience is necessary on this half-day adventure which includes transportation, safety gear, guides, lunch, and equipment.
Day 3: Zip Lining over Waterfalls
Sun, Feb. 18, 2018 — How cool is that?! The adventure begins with a tractor ride and then a short hike into the forest. This thrilling high-speed, zip lining course offers 12 zips as you soar from platform to platform at the base of Arenal Volcano, and then top it off with a great view of La Fortuna Waterfall! This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation and guide.
Day 4: Let’s head to the Beach!
Mon, Feb. 19, 2018 — Private transportation will be provided to the Manuel Antonio area. This amazing region boasts some of the most beautiful white-sand and palm-studded beaches in Costa Rica with an abundance of wildlife in the national park!
During our visit to Manuel Antonio, we will stay at Byblos Hotel. Byblos Hotel is an environmentally friendly hotel located along the hillside Manuel Antonio resort area. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, restaurant, bar, free internet, and tropical gardens. Deluxe Rooms feature air-conditioning, an indoor sitting area with large picture windows, telephone, cable TV, hair dryer, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, in-room safe.
Day 5: Catamaran Cruise & Snorkeling
Tue, Feb. 20, 2018 — The Catamaran Cruise is a great way to experience tropical islands, marine life and the beautiful Pacific coastline in style! After cruising along and taking in the scenery from topside we will stop to snorkel and explore underwater. The whales, dolphins, sea turtles and various tropical fish that are frequently spotted on this trip make this feature an Instagram-worthy highlight for many! While the swimming, snorkeling, sightseeing and possible marine life observation are all fun, this day is all about having a good time, taking it easy, and relaxing. Natural fruit drinks, Costa Rican coffee, and cocktails are included. A tasty lunch with plenty of variety will be served as well.
Day 6: Manuel Antonio National Park
Wed, Feb. 21, 2018 — Manuel Antonio National Park may be the smallest park in terms of acreage in Costa Rica, but it’s one of the largest in the world in terms of biodiversity. The park is loaded with wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, toucans, and parrots. With a little luck, and cooperation from Mother Nature, our bilingual naturalist guide will lead the way while pointing out an abundance of wildlife, flora, and fauna. This fun-filled safari includes the park entrance fee, a bilingual guide, and transportation.
Day 7: Another Beach Day – Playa Tamarindo
Thu, Feb. 22, 2018 — Sit back and relax after a fun-filled week at Tamarindo Beach or go out and explore on your own. Anything goes! This will be your last full day to experience Costa Rica.
Day 8: Final Day – Farewell
Fri, Feb. 23, 2018 — All good things must come to an end, though the memories and friendships are sure to last a lifetime! Transportation will be provided to the San Jose International Airport and you’ll be on your way back home.
