Quench your thirst for that designer piece without breaking the bank
So how do you find an affordable designer bag?
The answer: Get the bag you want at a discounted price after it’s been slightly pre-loved.
How do I determine the condition?
All of LGS’s items are certified authentic, and they use 5 different categories to describe the condition. Here’s an excerpt from their website to help clarify.
New with Tags: Item is pre-owned but has never been worn. Original store or designer tags are still on item.
New with defects: Item is new with tags, but has slight defects from trying on or storage.
Excellent: Pre-owned, but shows no signs of wear.
Good: Pre-owned, but shows slight signs of wear.
Shows signs of wear: Pre-owned or vintage, and while still an excellent piece, shows some obvious signs of wear.
How cute is this jacket?! For only $50!
Out with the old, in with the new
If you have items that you’d like to get rid of to make new space in your closet for some fresh items, then consider using the LGS consignment service. They can schedule at-home pickups in several major cities and accept drop-offs at any of their boutiques. If you’re too busy to make it over or live too far away, then they can even send you a prepaid shipping label.
If you need help finding the perfect ensemble for a special event, LGS offers styling services in person and online! For those times when you’re looking for something in particular, you can put in a request and one of the stylists will do their best to help you find it.
How do I know these items are real?
What if I change my mind?
Make sure that you love that bag or sparkly ring because all accessories, handbags, and jewelry are final sale. The good news is that those items typically always “fit”. If you got your item and found that the pair of shoes or dress you loved just doesn’t sit quite right, then you have 3 days to return them so don’t wait to open the box!
I’m a huge fan of consignment shops and I use them all the time. I love finding deals on slightly loved items. No one can ever tell that it wasn’t ME that actually “used” it in the first place. I definitely keep my finds for a long time but I know when I’m finally ready to part with them, that I can resell them to get some cash back to go towards my next purchase. To me, that’s definitely a deal!
