Photography Resources

Here's how I get the Photos you see on my Instagram feed

Sony A6000 Camera

This camera is great for all levels because you can shoot on auto or on manual. It has built in wi-fi so you can easily get your photos posted quickly. It's lightweight & easily fits in your bag. This is a great starter camera that you can grow with as you develop your photography skills. Once you get comfortable and want more clarity in your photos, you'll want to upgrade the lens for better quality.

Sony Zeiss 16-70mm F4 Lens

This lens has a wide range which I love for those expansive travel shots that make you say WOW! It's also great when shooting in a small room because you'll get a much wider shot than the basic lens that comes with the camera. The clarity and definition are very crisp. I'm very happy with this upgrade. This is the lens that I shoot with the most.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 Lens

This is a very affordable lens that will give you very professional looking photos, even if you just shoot on auto. This is the lens I use for product shots or fashion posts. You'll need to stand about 8-10 feet away from the subject to get the best results. This is the best lens for shooting close up photography of people or products.

Metabones Canon EF Lens to Sony E Mount T Smart Adapter

To use the Canon EF lens with the Sony A6000 camera you'll need to use an adapter. Be aware that not all adapters are created equal. I tried a few adapters that didn't work before finally finding this one. It works perfectly with this setup!

DJI Mavic Mini Drone

The compact yet powerful Mavic Mini is the perfect creative companion to capture your special moments. It's small enough to travel anywhere and its 30 minute flight time takes away the stress of rushing to capture the perfect shot.

Lightroom

I edit all of my photos with Adobe Lightroom. It gives you full creative control which allows you to portray the exact vibe you want the viewer to feel. Once you have a look that you like, you can create a preset and save it.
